Me in my sewing room

Everything I make begins in the same place — my own working life, my home, and a belief that well-made things earn their place through quality, usefulness and longevity.

For many years, my work centred on ready-to-use kitchen and home textiles: practical pieces designed to be used every day and to age well with time. Alongside these were smaller items made to be lived with, and pieces for children too, because kitchens are shared, working spaces.

Gradually, the way people came to me began to change. More often, conversations turned to fit, fabric, proportion and the way a particular kitchen is used. That natural evolution has led me to focus my work more deliberately on bespoke commissions.

Today, I work directly with you to create pieces made specifically for your needs. Sometimes that means refining an existing design; sometimes it means sourcing the right fabric or creating something entirely individual. The process is considered and unhurried, shaped by how you live and by the way your kitchen functions day to day.

Each piece is designed and made by me, with close attention to detail and an understanding of everyday use. Materials are chosen with care, and every decision is guided by balance, practicality and quiet refinement.

Just as you give thought to your choice of cooker, I believe the same consideration should be given to the accessories you use alongside it. They should work beautifully, feel right to use, and sit comfortably within the space.

If you are looking for pieces that are practical, well-made and created specifically for you, I believe what I make here will meet that expectation.
